ABOUT THE CURATOR
Akky van Ogtrop, President Print Council of Australia

Akky van Ogtrop graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts,
s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, majoring in printmaking, and has a
Masters Degree Fine Arts, Sydney University.
As a director and project manager of major arts events Akky worked
for the Biennale of Sydney, ARTiculate Campaign, the World out West and
is the founder and Executive Director of the Sydney Art on Paper
Fair. Akky has proven experience as arts administrator and creative
manager with extensive contacts and national and international project
experience and as an organiser, speaker and facilitator of national and
international symposia, workshops and discussion panels.
Apart from her expertise as a public program, event manager and art
historian Akky worked as curator with art museums, galleries and
contemporary art spaces, presenting exhibitions by Australian and
international artists.
Akky is presently serving on various boards, including: President of
the Print Council of Australia, President Sydney Chamber Music Festival,
Vice president Walter Burly Griffin Society and Committee Member of
the Arts and Cultural Committee of the Manly Art Gallery & Museum.
She is a Foundation member of the Art Gallery of NSW.
