Country & Western: landscape re-imagined is one of the most comprehensive and inclusive landscape exhibitions of recent times. With works by Paddy Bedford, Elisabeth Cummings, Tim Johnston, Emily Kngwarreye, Euan Macleod, Tracey Moffat, Mandy Martin, John Olsen, William Robinson,
Ginger Riley, Rover Thomas, John Wolseley and more, the exhibition brings into focus our evolving attitudes and perceptions of the national landscape over the past twenty five years. Conceived and assembled by curator Gavin Wilson.
Gavin Wilson and Maggy Todd in partnership with Bathurst Regional Art Gallery set up the artist in residency program at Hill End with Murrays cottage and Haefligers cottage that has been successfully running for 20 years with artists coming from around Australia and internationally.
